In 2022 a Hartwell, GA pastor received a vision of a stadium filled with people who are hungry and desperate for the love and hope of Jesus. In the vision was a portal of fire over the football field with the glory of God being poured out. Over a year later, after much prayer and contending for revival, the vision will come to life on April 26, 2024 with Hartwell's first ever “Night on Fire” at the Hart County High School stadium This will be a powerful one-night event designed for people to worship and encounter the life-changing love of Jesus with healing, miracles, and freedom. Come expecting your miracle and bring someone who needs a supernatural touch from God!
(Please note: This is a private community event and is not sponsored by or endorsed by the Hart County School system).

Hartwell Night on Fire is being coordinated by The Way Church of Hartwell in cooperation with several other surrounding churches and community leaders. All area pastors and churches are being invited to participate and everyone is welcome. There is not a full list of churches involved as the number is growing as the weeks go by. Please ask your pastor and any pastor friends if you’re curious about which churches are involved.
Pastor Riley Shelton from The Way Church was the one who initially had the vision of fire and worshiping Jesus at a football stadium. Since the vision was made public in summer of 2023, several others have come forward and indicated they’ve had a similar vision or dream. We firmly believe God is behind this.
Robby is an anointed man of God who trains and disciples Christians in middle eastern countries that are typically closed to the gospel. He is a 5th generation pastor with six sons who are all serving the Lord. We know him and can vouch for his credibility and effectiveness. Hartwell will be blessed by having Robby with us on April 26th.
Absolutely not. This is all about Jesus Christ the savior and risen Son of God. Everyone involved in this event loves Jesus and the people of Hartwell
The lady named Marilyn who came from Milwaukee last November visited The Way Church on a Sunday morning. She said she was prompted by the Lord to come to Hartwell, walk the streets and pray and to let the people know that revival is coming to Hart County. She was very kind and did not ask for any money. When she arrived, she confirmed the vision that Pastor Riley had more than a year earlier, which caused us to take note. (Note: some have posted recently about another woman from Milwaukee who is scamming churches for money. This is not the same woman.)
Among other things, this Night on Fire signifies God’s people being “on fire” for Jesus. There are many examples in scripture that refer to “fire” or the “fire of God”. Here are just a few:
o Hebrews 12:29 – “For our God is a consuming fire.”
o Exodus 13:21 – “And the Lord went before them by day in a pillar of cloud to lead them along the way, and by night in a pillar of fire to give them light, that they might travel by day and by night.”
o Luke 3:16 – “John answered them all, saying, ‘I baptize you with water, but he who is mightier than I is coming, the strap of whose sandals I am not worthy to untie. He will baptize you with the Holy Spirit and fire.’”
o Luke 12:49 – “I came to cast fire on the earth, and would that it were already kindled!”
o Exodus 3:2 – “And the angel of the Lord appeared to him in a flame of fire out of the midst of a bush. He looked, and behold, the bush was burning, yet it was not consumed.”
o Acts 2:3 – “And divided tongues as of fire appeared to them and rested on each one of them.”
o Leviticus 6:12-13 – “The fire on the altar shall be kept burning on it; it shall not go out. The priest shall burn wood on it every morning, and he shall arrange the burnt offering on it and shall burn on it the fat of the peace offerings. Fire shall be kept burning on the altar continually; it shall not go out.
Fire in the bible is often associated with God’s holiness, worship, sacrifice, repentance, refining, glory, etc. All of these in some way contribute to the theme of Night on Fire.
No. This night is a gift to the community of greater Hart County. It’s not a church service or a concert and tickets are free.
